What Did You Miss at the June Roadshows?

Thanks to all our volunteers who came to our recent North East Roadshows. We were encouraged by seeing all of you, being able to hear how things are going on your end and being able to share what’s happening with Safe Families’ development in the UK. If you weren’t able to make it, this short video will give you some of the highlights.

We were given some great volunteer feedback, which we’d like to share with you.

In their own words…

“It was an innovative evening, outlining the changes in Safe Families for Children and the future plans…and the food was great of course! Thanks!” – Annie
“The success of the programme as it rolls out over the country is very encouraging and it is good to know that local authorities are impressed by results.” – Elaine
“The case study really put everything into perspective. It was helpful to see how much impact a Family Friend can have. I also appreciated hearing where the organisation is going.” – Kia
“It was great to listen to people talk about all of the good parts of Safe Families. It was also encouraging to talk to amazing people who share the same vision.” – Joseph
“I felt very welcomed and encouraged by all the volunteers’ passion.” – Esther
“It was very encouraging meeting others who shared their experience as well as learning about the history and development of Safe Families. I really liked the group discussions and scenarios.” – Kirsty
