Community Volunteer Manager – Leicester

We are searching for a new Community Volunteer Manager for Leicester to join our team in the Midlands and South Yorkshire.

Role summary:

24-32 hours/week, includes Sunday working, circa £22-25k/annum pro rata.

The Community Volunteer Manager is a key staff role with responsibility for building relationships with local churches to help establish Safe Families as a transformational tool they can use to serve their communities. Safe Families volunteers are able to connect with and support vulnerable people, giving them hope and enabling children to thrive within community.  The Community Volunteer Manager is based out of the Leicester office and  is responsible for recruiting, training and supporting  volunteers who can help meet the needs of families referred by Leicester City Local Authority.  The Leicester staff team forms part of the regional Midlands and South Yorkshire team, who meet together at a central office (Nottingham) on a monthly basis.
